Cléa Choppard
Among other things, Cléa Choppard is a writer, translator, and sometimes performer. Following a Bachelor’s degree in Performance at HEAD-Genève, then a Master’s in literary writing at University of the Arts Bern (HEAB), she is currently preparing a PhD in research-creation between Paris 8 University and HEAB, as part of a project supported by the SNSF (Swiss National Science Foundation).
Her work focuses on translation, especially the concept of “intraduction”, with reference to various fields and concepts (history of patterns, connections with the human body, with D.I.Y., botany, etc.)
She is also part of the editorial committee for the literary journal L’Ours Blanc, and since February 2022 she has been running HEAD-Genève’s writing workshop.
