Vincent Broqua

Vincent Broqua is a writer, translator and professor of North American arts and literature at Paris 8 University, where he also teaches literary writing and runs a doctoral seminar on research-creation. His most notable publications include Photocall, projet d'attendrissement (Les Petits Matins, 2021) and Malgré la ligne droite: l'écriture américaine de Josef Albers (Presses du réel, 2021). Translation, in many forms, is an important part of his writing. Among the many writers he has translated or co-translated are: David Antin, Bill Berkson, Jim Dine, Caroline Bergvall, Thalia Field, Avital Ronell, Anne Waldman and Rosmarie Waldrop. He also organises bilingual public lectures as co-founder of the Double Change collective (doublechange.org).
