Lénaïg Cariou

Biography


Lénaïg Cariou is a researcher, a translator and a poet. Her thesis focuses on the work of the poet Emmanuel Hocquard and the publishing house Orange Export Ltd. She has co-organised the Festival Poet·e·s·s·e·s, and co-produces the poetry journal Point de chute. In 2019, she has co-founded the poetic translation collective Connexion Limitée / Limited Connection. Her poems and translations were published in journals (Muscle, Jef Klak, Sabir, Poezibao, Le Pied, L’écharde, Fragile...). She has translated Ce que j’ai connu by Eleni Sikelianos, translated by L. Cariou  and C. Blanc, Saint-Ouen, Editions de l’Usage, 2022 (forthcoming) and The Happy End / Bienvenue à tous by Mónica de la Torre, translated and postscripted by S. Abramovich, C. Blanc, L. Cariou, and N. Wolff, Nantes, joca seria, 2022 (forthcoming). She is also the author of Contre la poésie, la poésie, L. Cariou and S. Cunescu, dirs., Presses Universitaires of Liège, 2022
